I think the really insidious part of AI is that by using it in education, kids waste time by not learning, but thinking that they've learned. It's delusional study, and it doesn't advance their education. They'll be dependent on AI and trapped in poverty forever.

100% this. I also really appreciate the term non-consensual AI. Like, all of us posted to the internet prior to Gen-AI scraping it and we didn't consent to its use. Also, there's increased unequal power dynamics around data rights and data privacy norms that corporations have over individuals.

Hey today's International Women's Day. As someone who depends on VAW therapy to work through my trauma from gendered violence, I hope that more folks offer non-judgmental space and grace to women who are processing through harm, from those suffering in silence to those working with support systems.
