We report: the constellations are broken up by the clouds, and we are too close to sleep to make sense of these things anyway. It feels easy to let go, to not wonder about what kind of clouds they are, or the names of the stars. The wind blows from the darkest corner of the sky.

We report on a windy afternoon: there are all these trees which are still painstakingly growing leaves, and flowers too. We can tell this is not an easy day for them. All those flowery trees are shaking, and the petals are flying all over, forming a spring blizzard.

We report sometime in the morning, after sunrise. It is a small, dim pocket of enduring grey drizzle prolonging a layer of the night. Unlike the rain we have had lately, this one has been quietly going for hours. The staticky buzz of it settles something in our mind.

The moment they unveiled Reaper, I chose it and never looked back! All the lore puzzle pieces for my WoL's finally clicked into place. I loved the avatar, the scythe, the Grim Reaper aesthetic, the lore, graphics, sound effects, everything about it! It was the job I'd always dreamed of since ARR 🖤

We report: new moon on a clear night. Since the last time we saw the stars like this, a lot has changed. Some of them are gone, new ones have appeared. We ought to remember what spring constellations look like, but we barely do. It is too cold to try and jog our memory tonight.

We report: all of the wind of these past few weeks has stripped the trees bare here. The ground is all mulch and rotting wood, and we are bound to get a foot stuck in there at some point tonight. With no leaves on the branches, and barely a breeze, the night is eerily quiet.

We report: for the first few hours of the night, the sky was only an expanse of light-eating, inky black. When the waxing gibbous moon appeared through gauzy clouds, we almost thought a silver sun was rising. We find blue shadows spilled out over our bed, dripping onto the floor.

We report on a day that we stumbled through, tired, our mind stuck somewhere else. Only now, with the stars above our head, do we feel a little awake. Distant houses watch us with their orange eyes, but we do not feel observed, and we find our solace in this darkness.

For the last few years, I've had this BTN gear as Raina's adventurer plate pic (lore accurate lol). I always wished she could wear it as a RPR glam & now it's coming truuue. The new patch is going to be a boon for the tater - so many glams!
