28 years ago today, it was a great day to be a Notts fan. Mark Robson scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against Leyton Orient as we stormed our way to then Division 3 (now League 2) title in record-breaking fashion. It remains to this day the earliest Championship title in the top 4 divisions.

35 years ago today, Notts came so close to knocking Spurs out of the FA Cup and securing a place in the semi-finals. The scenes in the away end when Don O’ scored his pile-driver were incredible. And then came Gazza’s elbow… Did you go to White Hart Lane that day? What are your memories of the day?

It was good to see Gary Lund walking down Meadow Lane before the game yesterday. He seems to be aging incredibly well. He’ll always be fondly remembered for the late winner which knocked Man City out of the FA Cup. An incredible game for so many reasons. Were you there? What are your memories?

I’ve been reading Les Bradd’s autobiography on holiday and particularly enjoyed the chapter that details his last minute winner at the City Ground 50 years ago. I’m hoping some fellow Notts fans on Bluesky were there. I’d love to hear your memories of what must have been an amazing game to be at.

It’s almost 31 years since Notts dumped Spurs out of the League Cup with a mighty 3-0 win. We were rock bottom of what is now the Championship but we put in an inspired performance to defeat Jurgen Klinsmann and co. Were you at Meadow Lane that night? What are your memories of that incredible match?

50 years ago yesterday, Notts pulled off one of the greatest results in our history knocking the mighty Leeds out of the League Cup. It was a night when the chant ‘Super Notts’ was born. Did you go to the game? What are your memories of that night? I’d love to hear from those who were there.

That was around the time of my first game. Grew up in Shropshire and went to Loughborough Uni in 82. Tried all the 3 teams in the first division, and got hooked on Notts and it certainly wasn't for the results - but they were very entertaining at both ends of the pitch.
