Java stream's terminal operations `findFirst` and `findAny` are neat but one use cases isn't covered: "find the only one" - a terminal operation you'd use after a filter that's supposed to let exaxctly one element pass through. There's now a JDK preview with that operation, named `highlander`. ⚔️

One of the nice things is that all required lower-level concepts that are needed to achieve PQC are baked into the core JDK. Java's long-term commitment (whatever is in the JDK will be supported for many years by different vendors) make it a perfect choice for writing code that needs PQC.
