I really hope we get some good writeups of what the Tempest story is like, I feel like I got 10% of it but it was all very cool #over/under

Okay so I don't have a blog, I'm just gonna post some #over/under thoughts here and try to keep myself concise. I don't really play games for fun. I tend to go into them with the goal of mastering some system, and in LARPs and in this, that tends to be social. In some ways, I got my win?

Apologizing for being late with my emails due to over under to my romance of the three kingdoms cataphracts game and nobody else

Reading the debrief I think this is not true at all, it's just that I had no visibility into this in other factions. I got the impression that there was a certain amount of resentment that the union was pretty intrigue heavy - I wonder if people in other factions had the same experience

Wow it just sunk in I actually won at #over/under I was aiming really hard to win by my own goals that I made up, but I didn't think I'd ever win by Sam's

My last intrigue in this game is complete - joining the Mop Squad to throw a bucket at God #over/under

After weeks of work, it's finally here. A Dream where everyone gets railed and nobody gets whacked off. #over/under

It's also very interesting to me how generally adverse people were to violence in #over/under given the source material. The possibility of violence played a pretty big part in how I played the game basically until getting elected (I thought the chance of assassination was a lot higher)

Still a last few things wrapping up while I'm at work. Appropriately, I'm going to have to end the game by doing a bunch of kind of tedious manual work. Feeling sad already, but also really need this to be over

Wow I really jinxed things with this post lol Exhausted and can't sleep

I am completely exhausted and I wish I had more time in this game (over/under). I think I've finished all the things I absolutely needed to finish. There's a lot more I'd like to do. I guess that's another way this game is like life: you have only so much time, only so many things you can fix

Thinking of how impactful in #over/under that death is both possible and actually pretty rare. More common than real life but way less than most games that have death. And you need a really really large game for that effect to happen

#over/under: Some crazy news broke today! The ember and Millie have been made canon in apof!!! This is incredible and I'm genuinely honoured by it. However, it's not me who made the ember, its all the lovely people in the community that sprung up around it, without the cabrals, the arkas, the joyces

so far the main benefit of being president in #over/under has been being able to personally let Anthony Bourdain into the normally closed off union hall to experience the meat spigot (he was a fan)

Being elected president of the union in over/under really increases the danger that someone will actually read my post game blog post

I made a "barebones" version of Cairn. Sort of. It's the 2e rules but with swingy and random character generation (no tables, no implied setting). I'm still tweaking it a lot so expect some changes. It's SRD only now, but here you go I guess. cairnrpg.com/barebones/

Resumed the #over/under jigsaw puzzle (unfortunately just the union internal one for now cause I'm getting more interest in that and also story line wise it's more clear to me right now) I appreciate that they started by completing the most ominous part

#over/under I've decided that there are more ghosts in space ships and space stations (or so my character believes) because the spirits of those who die in space are scared of getting lost in the void

I had this idea of taking a break from over/under by finishing reading the book I was reading which happens to be Ancillary Mercy and then I read two pages and then decided to finish reading it in a few weeks

today in #over/under So there's a thread where every day I post a doodle of a plant, the idea is that the plant is growing. The thread used to be more active but the guy who started it left so it's just me. And I forget about the thread for a few days cause of everything else

So far the thing in over/under that felt most eerily close to real life is hanging out with a coworker you've been work friends with for a while, but in a non work social situation, where you see a different side of them and realize there's a lot more to their life

every NSR camp I end up playing two games that are surprisingly very similar, this time it is two games back to back set in Louisiana
