"Procedures to Discover the Path Ahead" is something I'd describe kindly as a stellar introduction to travel procedures. It does a wonderful job at stoking the embers of curiosity, remains consistent in its sense of circumstances, and I would rank it far higher than many other exploration toolkits.

The random tables on cultures, local food, types of merchants, etc. are super useful if you're a GM and you need to suddenly fill in details in the moment. This is one of the few "GM tool" RPG books I've found to be invaluable in play!

Procedures to Discover the Path Ahead is one of my favorite exploration generation supplements. You should buy it.

Fun fact for Canadian TTRPG creators: you don't need to pay $100 to get an ISBN like folks in the US. Library and Archives Canada allows you to get free ISBNs for your projects. Takes around 4-6 weeks for your account to be created but then you are good to go.

So the thing I posted about specifically is that I have been avoiding working on one particular game that has political themes because I wasn't yet a US citizen and it stopped feeling safe to talk about politics in any capacity as a non-citizen (I now am a US citizen as of extremely recently)

I felt kind of bad on my one Kickstarter being like "I am doing all my own fulfillment so I can't handle anything international except for a handful of countries, all I can say is to buy it from a game store that can handle that once it's available" but I feel a bit less bad now

A big part of the reason I was scared is that the USCIS office is in the same building as the ICE office, as well as a small ICE detention facility. I had no reason to think ICE would be after me, unless they'd suddenly decided to make some new form of speech illegal like they did to that one guy.

Nothing's going to go wrong, I'm in a very straightforward and safe situation. But even so it's hard not to worry about extraordinarily unlikely scenarios. If nobody hears from me for a while after this week, I will in fact be back and I will want to return to playing the various games I'm in.
