Oddly, the scathing bluntness of her response helped Broly relax. It was a tone that was harder to hide deception in.

His eyes remained focused as she stepped aside, and his body relaxed slowly. His fists uncurled, and he stood up straight, taking a tentative step towards the door before stopping.

The sound of a voice outside his cell made Broly's head shoot up, and as the door began to groan and buckle under an immense strength, he immediately rose to his feet and readied himself.

The darkness that surrounded Broly was soon filled with noise. His head lifted from his knees as an alarm began blaring throughout the facility, slowly rising to his feet and walking towards the cell door.
