The Oatmeal made a great comic about AI: theoatmeal.com/comics/ai_ar... It doesn't cover the massive environmental costs, but it's a pretty good statement on the necessity of human creativity.

The pseudonymous account Rev. Howard Arson accused Saeed Ismail of being a fake, AI-generated person. After I wrote about how Saeed is real, Arson is now creating AI videos of Saeed and his blanket. I don’t know Arson’s goal with all of this, but it strikes me as incredibly cruel.

Ironically missed the #BlueSkyArtShow for June 28th with the theme of #GetOutside because I was, in fact, outside painting. Work in progress from Rodegerdts farm in Yolo County.

Just over two years of work... Researched the native oaks of Northern California and picked leaves to use as inspiration & stamps. Painted everything white first for contrast, then added color. Replaced a few squares when I got lost in detail & forgot to consider the composition.
