Fascinating walk yesterday courtesy of the RNLI at St Annes. As the sea channel of the River Ribble was prone to moving they built 'training walls' to keep it straight as far out as 15 miles from Preston docks. It's a 1.5 mile walk out from St Annes at low tide and really interesting to see.

It's a typical British Bank Holiday out there, some people in shorts and t shirts, others dressed like it's winter!

Reminiscing about the start Burnley had to the 2017/18 Premier League season. First 4 away games were Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Everton who had finished 1st, 2nd 4th and 7th the previous season. Beat Chelsea and Everton and drew with the other 2. Oh for a start like that again! #burnleyfc

My belated pub of the month for April is Hatters Craft Bar on St James Row in Burnley. It has been a couple of different pubs in recent years but definitely worth a visit with the new owners who are running it really well. Oh and it's also very cheap!
