So, I don't really like apology posts (in like a good way? as in I feel like you don't have to apologise for life happening). But, here I am. I've been having a struggle with doing the social medias lately. I don't even really know why. Nothing has particularly changed. But it's just harder now. 🔽

If we start at the beginning, Lori started life as Ljor, of the Ljanta tribe. When she came of age and set into womanhood she became Ljorila. She left the jungle and ended up in Valnain, at which point she adapted her name to be more Garlean to blend in, Lorilae aan Ljantae. ⬇️

It used to be a pale green with some streaks of ice blue. After her change the ice blue takes over, with a bit of green, and veins of blood red. When she uses Divinity it shines brighter. Being a creature of emotion, colours like an elpis flower also bleed a little into her Aether. #loriqotd

Lori has a high tolerance, but if she gets drunk she's a passionate drunk. As in, whatever she's feeling gets heightened. If she was sad, she's now super sad. If she was horny, she's now hella horny. Etc. But others can also affect her mood more easily, making it swing wildly. #loriqotd

This is Lori's father, Iki of the Dei-Ilja tribe. If Lori only has a vague idea of her mom, the very concept of a dad is foreign to her. Males have no place in the Ljanta tribe. She's never seen him, or really any male Viera before leaving home. #loriqotd

This is Lori's mother, Lerhe. Lori has only a vague idea she is though. The Ljanta tribe raises their children communally, without letting the children know who their real mom is. But some physical resemblance is there. But Lori never knew for sure. And after leaving home she never will. #loriqotd

Fortune could certainly be worse. Although it might be telling me to get off my ass and do island sanctuary...

I'm from Ragnarok! Started there because the friend who got me into XIV was there, joined their FC, and stuck around! Moved briefly to Spriggan to get married and then moved back again when I could. Lori is kind of an idealised version of myself. She shares a lot of traits. But she is more outgoing, more brave, just generally cooler than I could be. Except she's sometimes an anxious mess like me. Because it's still me writing her I guess. #loriqotd 🔽
