Making hand drawn top-down perspective games is insane. I've drawn, animated, painted, and shaded my 12 frames for the run cycle of Jack, my main character. Now, "only" got to do that 4 more times (+3 shades). then: -every attack x 8 - idle x 8 - death x 8 - qin - etc.... #animation #gamedev

Just watched the Jonathan Blow interview about his new game. I hate to say it, but... I'm not super convinced. I'm a huge The Witness fan, I've gifted it to multiple people, and played it a couple of times. Yet, I feel like part of the appeal to his games is that the game is rough, fun and smart.

I created a tiny Godot tool for instancing and animating MultiMeshinstances along a Path3D. Megan and I really love playing Abzu and Sword of the Sea, so I wanted to take a stab at creating something that could mimic the look of all those fishies swimming around!

New planet just dropped and it 1) is almost exactly Earth-sized 2) has a year that's almost exactly 1 Earth year. 3) orbits a star that is not a 💢temperamental little shit M-dwarf 💢but is instead a 🧡 good orange boi 🧡 Me for @science.org based on results presented at #RockyWorlds4: 🔭🧪
