Never managed to get playing Highguard due to the TPM requirement, but I did watch a decent amount of gameplay there. I would have been interested in the concept as a coop PVE shooter. As a PVP/CTF/Base game, I feel it was really missing things like PVE mobs and more base customization.

All the talk about circumventing the ID checks is understandable, but I feel like undercuts the core issue. These anti-privacy laws and companies gathering IDs is not something that should be tolerated on any level.

Companies still firmly charging forward with AI, citing how everyone wants it. I guess to prevent the bubble from popping, they have to keep at it, but I'll have more respect for the first company that breaks from that self devouring ouroboros.

Feels like the propaganda machine is starting up again with people trying to discourage people that if they vote for Democrats that nothing will change. Remember, we are trying to get the bus in the right direction, and get the wheel away from people who drive us off the fucking cliff.

Still feeling like most of the internet has to be bots. GenAI certainly helps hide them though. We really need laws regulating their use as a baseline, but there's definitely powerful people who want to keep it as unregulated as possible.

Enjoying Cairn, but man does the game punish you heavily if you get a little cocky and don’t take precautions. I was so close to finishing a climb but then all my stamina rapidly depleted with the last couple grabs. The piton I placed a few dozen feet below couldn’t save me.
