Everdeep Aurora was a fun 6 hour experience. Mechanics were pretty basic, but it does feel a bit like something out of the gameboy era. Got the true ending,but there seems to be some secrets hiding in it. Left me curious for more, though these types tend to leave mysteries.

So apparently Procreate has a video export option. So..uh..have a penguin I sketched from a guide. (Circles are hard)

New Years Resolutions this year. 1. Exercise more consistently. 2. Practice drawing more often Keeping it simple. If I'm a bit more fit and my art looks a little better, I'll count it as a win.

Pondering getting back into streaming in the new year. What platform do people prefer (for art): Twitch, Picarto or something else? I had been getting frustrated with Picarto DCing me, and I know people like not having to switch fav platforms.

Just recently came across a YouTube music video where the lyrics were written by ChatGPT, the song was created by Sonauto, and the video itself was just made by some other guy on Fiverr. The YouTuber themselves contributed nothing. Made me sad.

The latest FFXIV 7.4 patch has such a good helping of FFIX nostalgia that was missing from the original Dawntrail release. I'm still holding out hope that there will be a proper FFIX remaster in the future.

Pluribus feels like such a waste of time. Most of these episodes could be about half the length and still get the same ideas across.

Looking for references can be exhausting when trying to find real images these days. Especially as search engines have made it more difficult to find older pre-2020 stuff.

I'm apparently behind on this news, but kinda disappointed to hear that Kevin Macleod has been using AI to create music over the last year. I've used his older stuff as themes in my DnD games, so feels a bit weird when apparently he doesn't really have any passion for creating music.

Gonna keep FFXIV Arcadian spoilers to a minimum for at least the next week. Short version is that I enjoyed the fights, loved the music, and I'm very eager to see how this all cooks up for Savage.

As someone who only gets into GW2 occasionally and will dabble into festivals, it's kind poor taste that it costs so much just get rewards. I don't have a lot of gold to spend, and time is a premium these days too. I remember when events used to be a good way to make money, not lose it.

Wow. It’s been a while since I’ve done a maintenance paissa. Need to remember one for at least the 7.5 patch.

Been slowly progressing through Metroid Prime 4. (Just finished ice world). The comparison that it’s a bit more similar to old school Zelda is definitely apt. More dungeon focused, but I can see the bones. I don’t see it as a bad thing, but it’s definitely a new direction.

Greatly enjoyed Knives Out 3! These movies have been fun mysteries and one of the few franchises I don’t think I could get sick of if they kept releasing them with this quality.

Watched Bullet Train again last night and I still think that is such a fun movie. The twists and interconnected plots are pretty well done, and the characters all bounce well off each other. Highly recommend checking it out.

Played the demo of Pragmata and I feel pretty positive about it! The hacking initially look like it might feel clunky with a shooter, but it’s actually fairly quick and adds a nice little mini game. Since the hacking is so short, I don’t think it will get annoying.

As expected, E33 wins most of the awards. Wish Indiana Jones won something, and I feel like Silksong could have won a couple categories. Game Awards reveals were pretty meh. I'm most excited about Divinity reveal, but a CG trailer also doesn't mean much. No excitement for another arena shooter.
