I went on a date last night and I felt awful at the end, to no fault of her, but rather hearing myself talk about my family life, career, and aspirations made me realize that I don't do enough for what I believe in, and that I am dumber than I pretend to be.

Besides the production being just so stellar, the songwriting is absolutely divine. The melodies being incredibly catchy yet so intricate, the lyrics and vocal delivery just being so powerful. "Salvage" is such a great anthem for maintaining a mentality of love during times of doubt and uncertainty.

Okay I mean this when I say there's a song that encapsulates the exact feeling of depression and then a super uplifting song right after with insane time signature change and I'm all for it
