First time I haven't got the Cardle in about 4 weeks or so. Said automaker has such incredibly generic designs with little differentiation between models that I almost immediately identified the brand and even the year, but I couldn't get the model.

Lots of wrong discourse about Mopar on the timeline today. Mopar has made plenty of great cars which have appealed to many people. Saying otherwise is just a lie. I do not agree w/ many of their current choices, but they are a long evolution of issues that have existed since Mercedes looted them.

Oh my god my last truck buying post brought out the randos. None of my usual #weirdcarbs peeps. I don't need to be educated on how car buying works. I'm not looking for anyone's opinion about what I buy. And I do need a truck. I don't give a crap if that disturbs the anti-truck wackos.

Another truck option came my way today. Great options, still not exactly what I wanted, but very close. Eliminated from contention by a potentially serious rear differential noise. *sigh* Back to the search.

Tried to buy a truck today. $3k separated my extremely fair offer and the dealer. They refused to budge. Came home truck-less.

My wife & I leased a 2025 Equinox EV in August & it has been a great car. Unfortunately the Facebook group is filled with the worst examples of whiny owners I've ever seen. People who complain about the smallest things. It's amazing to me. For every happy owner there are 10 people whining.

Well, 2025 kinda sucked, but I did buy my 300C, so not all bad. Onwards to 2026. Hopefully this will be the year I add another Hemi to my life, and sooner rather than later.

I love these. I had a 2001 Concorde LXi, which was the same car essentially. The LHS was better looking overall though.

Watched one of my all time favorite movies tonight and observed that it is car-adjacent. The taxi is kind of a star itself.

I needed a sway bar end link so I decided to upgrade the front sway bar on the 300C today. Stock on the right, new bar from a 2020 Charger Hellcat Widebody w/34k miles is on the left. Significant size upgrade. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet, but I am looking forward to it!

Picked up the 2025 Equinox EV in Riptide Blue today. I also took a couple photos of it when I first picked it up then a couple of more artsy photos with it at golden hour along the way home from the dealer. What a great car, I really love this color!

Is an Equinox EV weird enough for #weirdcarbs? I don't know, but I just finalized a pretty great lease deal on one for my wife! Pick up is this weekend, and I'll get to take my first long EV road trip back home with it - about 400 miles!

Wash day for my daily drivers. I love this 300C. It might not be as "rare" as my 300M Special was, but I love every minute I spend with it. Now that my 300M Special sold, I've got plans for this 300C!

Welcome to the fleet, 2019 Chrysler 300C Hemi. I've wanted one forever, & though I drove tons of other stuff that I liked, I just kept coming back to the 300C as what I wanted for a daily sedan. This is a Bright White on Mocha example with 78k in great shape that I got for a great price. I love it.

Tomorrow is my Hemi day. And then all the days after that... 😁

Annnnnnd it looks like I'm buying another GMT800. A Yukon SLT, this time, same black as my Tahoe. I'll have the matching set of the short SUVs, at least for a bit. What was that I said yesterday about needing something different? Another version of a vehicle I already own wasn't what I meant.

I currently own 6 Chrysler LH cars: 4 Chrysler 300M Specials (one is for parts) and 2 Dodge Intrepids. Might finally be time to sell a few and add another car to the stable.

End result: I have a good friend who sells Mopars. He told me to run from the 4xe. He said he has a line of angry 4xe buyers w/ 4xe specific problems. I still drove one & it was decidedly "fine," but I didn't like it enough to get over those reliability concerns. The non-4xe is still on my list.

Alright, I'm well aware I'm all over the place on what I'll buy next and that probably won't stop, but I'm test driving a 2019 A6 with the 3.0 today. It's in my price range and has a nice mix of options and low mileage. We'll see if I come away inspired enough to buy it.
