This is pg29 of Chapter 1 of my next manga ‘Sunset Protocol’ (same universe as ‘The Dreaming’.) After fiddling with the art a bit, but his more gritty/mature art style may be the one best suited to this story. I’m currently writing the last chapter of this (2-vol, 12 chapters).

Doing more character designs for "Sunset Protocol", this time for Luke. I'm starting to grasp the art-style I should use for this--something that recalls the original "The Dreaming", but has more grit. Adding black lines for the shadows somehow makes the grit ⬆️ 50%.

In Bangkok right now, and amazed at how popular manga (and anime) is here, in the middle of the CBD. Apart from the giant Animate store in MBK, there’s tonnes of anime collabs like ‘Attack on Titan’ with big brands and department stores!
