They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida. If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.

This should outrage everyone. That baby is traumatized for life.

Went to visit these two cuties today at our local shelter. Okay so at the end of last year I saw that we were boycotting Home Depot, which is fine. We switched to Lowe’s. But now I’m seeing that we’re boycotting Lowe’s due to the stance on scaling back their DEI stance. So as a homeowner who always has a long list of projects- where do I go?!

This sweet girl doesn’t know how much she saved me, even though I “technically” saved her. We had a really terrible start last year and lost 3 of our fur babies and somehow this girl, who we adopted in August, embodies the personalities of two of them. She is perfect and she deserves everything. 🩷

Hey #booksky! I finished my first dark romance - Lights Out! I LOVED it! The banter was fantastic and hilarious. I liked that more than the story, but that was also great! What recommendations can you give that have a similar level of hilarious banter between characters?

I see so many people who are so eloquent in the way they respond to maga, but at this point I’m so angry and flustered that I don’t come off sounding as intelligent as I actually am.
