About 3 this afternoon I went outside for about a half hour, filled the bird bath, put some seed in the feeder, saw a thrasher, a scrub jay, and heard a roadrunner. And felt a lot better.

I was just thinking ... Nearly every time I hear that song, it's the Joe Cocker version. Randy Newman wrote and performed the original - but I rarely hear that version. Cocker's version was used in the movie 9-1/2 Weeks, so I guess it's more well-known. He made a lot of songs "his".

In California, March 20, 2020 was the first day of lockdown. I went to the office, packed what I would need to WFH, and didn't go back for three years. On this, my last commute (65 miles, one-way), my dashcam caught this. I still drive that stretch on occasion, but it's not the same.
