The tragedy of Pompeii has always haunted me. In my novel Chronicles of Time, my protagonist travels back in time to have a profound conversation with Pliny the Younger, while Mount Vesuvius ominously signals its impending destruction in the background.

Bookstores are more than shops—they’re havens. You walk in for one book, leave with three, and gain an hour of peace just wandering the shelves.

All I want is a cottage in the Scottish Highlands, a freshly-fallen snow, a crackling fire, a riveting mystery novel, a kettle on the stove, and a healthy supply of emotional support scones.

A gentle reminder that balance, not excess, is where peace lives. Let go, and find the calm waiting for you.

If you don’t want to read Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein together by lantern light in a seaside cottage during a full moon, then please don’t refer to yourself as “the one.”

Sir, I love you more than words can wield the matter, Dearer than eyesight, space, and liberty, Beyond what can be valued, rich or rare, No less than life, with grace, health, beauty, honor; As much as child e’er lov’d, or father found;

It's officially winter! Time to hibernate until spring in my warm cave. I have the Timeless Fate Series books by my side, tea, coffee, blankets, a comfy couch, fire, and some lovely ambience. Nobody is going to see me or talk to me until then, and I am very happy with that.

Hum! This fellow might be in ’s time a great buyer of land, with his statutes, his recognizances, his fines, his double vouchers, his recoveries. Is this the fine of his fines, and the recovery of his recoveries, to have his fine pate full of fine dirt?

Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful, And since we've no place to go, Let us read, Let us read, Let us read!

Picture this: You’re tucked into a cosy leather chair, the soft crackle of a fire warming the room. Shelves of books tower around you, their stories waiting to be discovered. A cup of coffee steams in your hand, and the only sound is the turning of pages. Isn’t this the perfect escape?

Imagine traveling back in time to have heart-to-heart conversations with historical legends like Victor Hugo and Chopin. That’s the journey I’m bringing to life in Chronicles of Time. It’s still a work in progress, but with every word, I’m getting closer to capturing these imagined encounters.

When you tell yourself "one more chapter," but you're reading the Timeless Fate Series books which are impossible to put down until they're over and then you look up and theres a bright light in your eyes, maybe the sun, and you have no idea what time, day, or year it is but it was totally worth it!

"A rainy day brings the best out of you. You enter into the spirit of the tempest, which roars through the ivy-twined trees.... You listen to the ceaseless patter of the rain upon the wood, its gurgling rush to the overflowing sink, and the dripping trees." - Charlotte Brontë (Jane Eyre)
