#ThursdayGreen As Seen ain Paducah Brigitte Kopp from Brandenburg, Germany created this quilt to mimic the stratification of the Earth. She named it: "Earth Stories: Copper." She stitched & quilted it both by machine and by hand. She painted some of the fabric to get the right effect.

#ColorfulMonday Norine Dolyniuk created "The Pineapple Of My Eye" out of Kaffe fabrics. Norine was gifted a pineapple quilt tool for cutting the pieces in this quilt, which she says trims them nicely. She claims that there are imperfections, but don't ask me where!

#SundayYellow As Seen In Paducah This quilt was part of their fire exhibit. Michelle Jackson (Sandia Park, NM) worked at creating a memory she holds of the warmth and fascination of a campfire. She used hand dyed & painted fabric plus raw edge fused applique.
