Despite knowing that I am currently stable from a psychiatric perspective, I still found myself considering that somehow the visit would spiral out of control and I might get sectioned. That is the tragedy and trauma of coercive psychiatry. It casts a long and frightening shadow over all of us.

This morning we - as a Dutch team - had a nice exchange on participatory research in #psychiatry with the SelfRecovery German/French teams. I presented our 'passible polyphony' (methodological team-reflexivity) paper. I used Shogun to highlight the 'voices' that speak from our own experience.
