Thank you to all the staff who guided me through 3 stints at the NEH when I was just a baby grad student trying to figure out how I could have an impact on the humanities working beyond the academy. It's hard to put into words the difference my time at the agency made for me.

A few years ago I spent a weeks combing through ChronAm looking for mentions of Edgar Banks selling cuneiform tablets.
