It's really too bad that the Falcons and Saints each didn't win one more non-divisional game earlier in the year. If that was the case, then a Saints win today would put all four teams at 8-9. Mediocrity exemplified.

With the MLB All-Star Game happening next week in Cobb, there's about to be a barrage of propaganda about what an economic success it has been. This isn't true. I wrote up a report with all the data 3 years ago. It's a net cost to taxpayers of -$15 million/year.

Want to go visit the national parks this year? Sorry. The reservation system is shut down, EMT personnel are gone, so don't get hurt or lost. No one can clean the bathrooms or cabins, so they'll be closed. Rangers are fired.

Why is it that when the student course reviews come out, I tend to overlook the large number of extremely nice, positive ones, but get really bothered by the few negative remarks?
