Collision with a cyclist on Redcliffe roundabout this morning. I cycled past. I don't know what happened here, but I've already had three incidents this year of drivers pulling out on me on this round about during my morning commute. On the 23rd, myself and the Vench (Lockleaze adventure playground) and lovely local + Vistry volunteers served Christmas dinner for 75! Special thanks to my mother for all her help, and Vistry for donating the food.

It's brilliant news that more transport powers will be devolved. Local politicians know best what's needed & how to integrate the options locally. Now we need a mayor who will show leadership on this, which is something we've not seen from Labour.

Despite the weather there's a good turn out for the vigil for the elimination of violence against women and girls. A sobering fact everyone should know is that a women is killed by a man every 3 days in the UK.

Clarkson is a questionable spokesperson on this, he bought a farm specifically to avoid inheritance tax! I support a tax on wealth and we need to work out how to make this fair whilst supporting our farmers to produce the good food we need in an environmentally and financially sustainable way.

I know lots of people are put off cycling in bad weather because they need to look smart. I cycled for nearly an hour in the snow this morning and will attend a formal council meeting this afternoon.

The government has options for raising money. We need a bold government to actually fund the services we rely on.

We need a mass transit system and we need to be ambitious and act with necessary urgency.

Last night a cross party committee voted in support of a work place parking levy. This is one of many great Green party solutions to improve travel options for Bristol!

How can someone do the most important job in the region and me an MP?

We need the Labour government to be bold to build the better future they promised.
