Daughter tried to send me money to Door Dash something and it's such a small town that every single thing is closed, even the Chinese restaurant which is usually open. At least my son is headed to his dad's family for dinner. I made banana bread for him to take.

My daughter is cancelling her visit because they're both sick. Says she'll come at Christmas, and I had to tell her I won't have money for gifts this year at all. I'm fundraising for rent. Can we please fast forward until I have my degree and a job and money? I'm so tired of this.

Welp, no statistics career for me. My brain is done. The last two chapters were difficult to slog through, but the one this week is breaking my brain. At least this is the last chapter of the semester, so I don't have to cram anything else in after this.

I just got an email from my professor telling me I'm a really good sci-fi nerd! Okay he actually said I'm doing well, have a clear understanding and interest in the class, and provide thoughtful commentary and replies, but it's the same thing! 🩷🖖🏼

It's week 12 of a 16 week semester and I just now discovered a page on Canvas in my Accounting course that tells us *which sections* of each chapter to read. I guess I've learned about twice as much accounting as I was supposed to as I've been reading the whole of each! 🤣

I think I need to give up trying to make friends. People my age already have their group, and no one seems to want new members, which I get, but good Lord am I lonely. I've been reaching out to people, trying to make connections, but I get ignored or brushed off. It's likely my fault.

I wish I could sue the US government for causing so much unnecessary daily stress. I can't sleep a full night anymore, I'm constantly in an anxiety attack, and I'm pulling away from the world. This is a cruel and unusual presidency and they owe us all.

I have been having a lot of trouble understanding last week's Statistics concepts, and this week's add onto them so I need to go back and reread and take new notes. I'm glad I did well up to this point in the class so I have a bit of wiggle room to fail without losing my A.

I got everything done that needed done for the week, on time. I'm making today an Animal Crossing day. I forgot how much this game soothes me.

One of my errands today was to the courthouse (which took three stops because they moved), and there was no voting here today at all. A man in front of us at the metal detector asked so I just didn't have to, which was nice.

I had to run errands this morning and I had a big hot flash while I was out so now I'm home and exhausted and *thankfully* planned to take the day off anyway so it worked out. But my goodness do hot flashes suck. What a silly name for something so awful.

The play at the high school was a well done comedy, my son and I were glad we went. I was also happy to find out that the play was written by an old coworker friend of mine who has turned into a local playwright in the last five years!

My daughter will be leaving in about an hour, and this evening my son and I are going to the high school to see a play. I'm trying to exist more offline.

I tried to tell a local that my school was censoring us and he said "Yeah those liberal teachers won't let you talk about both views" and I rolled my eyes so hard they're still rolling. THIS is real censorship.

Thank goodness!! Today is the last day of the writing course, I have to make a final draft of my final paper and answer a bunch of discussion posts, then it's finally over. No volunteer stream today, unfortunately, I had no way to get this done earlier in the week as it was locked until now.

I got 97% on my first Statistics exam!!!

Finished my second Accounting exam with a 99% (I had a 96% on the first one) so now I get to play Terraria as a treat!

One more major writing assignment (due Friday) and I'm finished with my second writing class. Thank goodness. What I thought would be a class I'd love turned out to be a disappointment. At least I'll have a fun elective for the second half of this semester as I finish Accounting and Statistics.
