On July 4th, protestors were arrested during a noise demonstration at an ICE facility in TX, and are being held on ridiculous charges. Among them are trans women who are being inhumanely housed in men’s facilities, denied essential medications, and strip-searched multiple times a day by male guards.

Capitalism is some really sick, fucked up shit. My worth as a human is reduced to a dollar value. Honestly, I’m not great at this. I have a silly squirrel brain that’s good at finding acorns and mushrooms and whittling wood and whatever, and it absolutely fails to generate meaningful capital.

More and more I keep thinking I ought to go back to having a personal website, like in the before-times. I mean, nobody would go to it, but at least I wouldn’t have to keep rebuilding my space on one social media platform after another. I miss webrings.

Well, @flashes.blue is completely broken for me and I can’t roll back to a previous version. There wasn’t anything particularly necessary about it, but seeing all my photos in a cohesive gallery really motivated me to keep making new things. Hopefully it will get fixed but right now I’m like 🤷🏻‍♀️
