It was a great turnout this past Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church for the community block party hosted by Councilmember Rev. Jahmel Robinson. We had hotdogs, the Regional Food Bank gave out bags of groceries, and people from across the neighborhood came together to celebrate.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless families forever changed. We remember the first responders whose courage carried us through tragedy, and we reflect on the resilience that defines us as a nation. May this day remind us of our shared humanity.
