With impact campaigns, you can easily and happily stay in an activist bubble. The challenge always is to reach beyond that. For THE PICKERS, we drove our refrigerated van with fairly picked oranges to the global headquarters of ALDI Süd in Salzburg to show them the film and talk about our campaign.

We took fair oranges to ALDI! 🍊 We contacted several major supermarkets asking them to meet with us as part of the Meet THE PICKERS Tour. ALDI South welcomed us to show the film and ask the question: ‘How can we ensure that our food is not produced through exploitation?’

During the Meet THE PICKERS Tour we're distributing over 3000 oranges & asking people to support a FAIR PICK. The unusual thing about these oranges is that they're exploitation free because they are from SOS Rosarno, featured in The Pickers documentary that inspired this campaign. Find out more 👇

The Meet THE PICKERS Tour visited the largest ghetto in Europe, near Borgo Mezzanone in Puglia. We met with Yvan Sagnet who told us about the crucial work of No Cap who are moving from protest to proposal – offering better jobs to workers

#WeWantAFAIRPICK - Do we need a FAIR PICK certification label like Fair Trade or Organic? We've handed out fairly produced oranges to folks like @publiceye.ch and hosted screenings including the one @ethzurich.bsky.social as the Meet THE PICKERS Tour travelled across Switzerland 🍊

In Basel we met with our partners from Swiss Fair Trade hearing about their important work, including how we can safeguard and argue for legislation that effectively protects human rights. We had another packed screening in a temple of good food, the Markthalle Basel.
