Granvir 2.23.0 is live! I was missing my AC3 build so I added enormous back mounted chain guns to take me back. Also, you can now lock your back weapons into a deployed position so they're less than a moment away!

Campaign 4 teaser #3 incoming: You won't have time to scour the map so you'll be claiming rewards after missions. Each completed wave gives you more picks and expands the pool. Picks and additions will vary between missions so choose wisely.

Campaign 4 teaser #2 incoming: This campaign focuses on a new wave defense mission type. Waves of enemies will advance on your position. You can make a break for it after the first wave or risk taking on up to 2 more for even greater rewards.

Campaign 4 is still a bit far out but I want to share 3 of its major new mechanics over the next few days. First up is deployable turrets! You can loot, craft and buy preset turrets for backup on your mission and even build custom turrets with your extra parts.

Granvir 2.22.0 is live with armature accuracy. Arms now have accuracy stats that make handheld weapons more and less accurate. 4 new arms have also been added to cover accuracy/damage/strength archetypes across the tiers. Show me your new favorite arm mechs!

Granvir 2.21.1 is live with the rifle one-handing rework. I wanted to distinguish them from pistols and set them up for higher accessibility. I know the law of equivalent exchange though and have doubled the number of rifles than can be one-handed.

Holding two-handed weapons in one hand was in need of a mild aura buff. You'll now keep them lowered and raise them into a firing position when its time to blast.

Granvir 2.20.0 is live with a pair of quadruped bug legs! Load your trunk with junk using the GPD02 Hauler or abdomen blast enemy mechs with the SPD03 Drageck's swarm missiles.

Next update you'll be able to unleash your inner bug mech and your inner bug mech will be able to unleash its inner never-ending missile swarm.

I was mid thoraxmaxing when a squad of mechoids ambushed and maxed my heat levels. Is ignoring the mechoids while quadrupunting and logging Granoids more effective than bugfishing in the forest biome?

I have been too neglectful of my Mech Assault roots. Its time for a wave of weaponized armatures starting with some new beam arms.

Who would win: 1 mech sized halberdier or 100 mech sized horsemen? New melee weapon type coming after I recover from this beating.

I love a good gunblade but I've been struggling to model one I'm happy with for a while. I think I've finally got one thanks to the new parrying swords. When you hit an enemy mech with an attack is will load a round into the magazine.

Working on a new utility cannon that disrupts enemy mech targeting so you can safely close the gap. Also a new melee weapon type that automatically counter attacks when you successfully parry.

Got to do some 3D work for @granvir.bsky.social ! It's also just a really cool game that I'm excited to see where it goes, highly recommended.

Year of the horse jumpscare. The colossal animation workload can only protect you for so long.

Granvir Update 2.10.0 is live with Next Campaign+. After completing any campaign, you can now start the next campaign carrying over your Granvir. A new difficulty setting has also been added allowing you to reduce or remove enemy stat scaling with escalation.

If you want to give Granvir a try, you can play the whole first campaign in Zero Front for free. Its a faster simpler campaign but it receives all the same updates as the full game. If you're into Armored Core style mech building and slower paced combat try it out!

Granvir Update 2.9.0 is live with new sniper enemies. They'll attack from a much further range than other enemies. Use speed and cover to break line of sight and close the gap.

I've always loved the Ragnarok from Mech Assault. Its bubble shield was my favorite thing about it so of course I had to have one. Now that the shields have been reworked, you can make them the core of your defense instead of relying on mobility.

The 1 shopper at a time limit has been a big slow down to co-op since launch. Under the hood changes have finally culminated in letting multiple players browse and buy from a shop at the same time next update.

Granvir 2.8.0 is live with a full rework of shield generators into a complete defensive option, a difficulty setting for loading the last save when destroyed, a target dummy in the testing grounds and much more!

3 new difficulty settings for Granvir’s next update. Checkpoint reload on death, unlimited (or up to 300%) ammo usage and full friendly fire (instead of just AoEs).

I've seen a lot of players get tripped up on two-handed weapons quietly blocking the use of their off hand inventory slot. Next update it will be clear why that slot can't be used.

One more slice of QoL for the lock-on weapon enjoyers. Many have rightfully said its hard to know if your lock on weapons are on or off. Next update you'll get a little crosshair popup telling you what state you've toggled them to.

A target dummy has been one of the most requested features since the testing grounds were added. It will be arriving in Granvir’s next update and you’ll finally be able to take your lock-on weapons for a spin before the real deal.

Granvir 2.7.0 is live with Custom difficulty. You can now adjust enemy strength, scaling and more. Some new options have also been added including Granvir modify cost, shop access cost and even extra supply pods. Check out the full notes on Steam!

The enemy I get the most negative feedback on in Granvir is actually the infamous force of gravity. Next update, jumping into a pit will deal some damage and put you back on the ledge on Normal and Hard difficulty instead of ending your run.

Next update you'll be able to make any control group a toggle so you don't need to hold down the key to use your Granvir's sprint or jump jets. I'll be adding a slew of jump jet equipped variant torsos to celebrate your ergonomic liberation!

Enemy Granvirs are working towards their pilot's license. They can now use torsos equipped with jump jets to boost up and fire over their allies and cover.

Just finished Zeta Gundam. Probably my favorite series so far. Thought I'd make a Zeta beam rifle of my own. My favorite moment is when Kamille explains to Char why he can kill and Char realizes what he's done. Looking forward to more Haman in ZZ too.

Working on a new archetype of back cannon for your melee mech. This one doesn't deal a lot of damage but is highly ammo efficient. Use them to soften up enemies for breakpoints and finish them off from afar or ignore my advice and just let it rip.

The continuous hit effect of the chainswords make for an ideal melee weapon to fall behind the loot curve with so I'm adding a T1 variant with the saw blade. You can even swap to a two-handed grip if you get really desperate.

Granvir 2.2.0 is live with 4 new T1 part variants and a pair of multiplayer desync fixes. I've also made some tweaks to Campaign 3, increasing manpower gains on Normal and making the Part Modifier project available without prerequisites. Patch notes below ⬇

While I wait patiently for reports of desyncs I'm adding some new mech parts to the tiers with the least parts. Tier 1 actually has the least number of parts and there are plenty of part series in need of a T1 version.

Chain swords are probably the weapons I see players struggle to use the most in Granvir. I've taken some time to improve their usability. The chainsawing can now begin at any point in the swing. Its also much easier for me to make chain weapons now so here's a chain greatsword!
