I feel like full damage collateral in Granvir has been a bit overbearing. Hitting two enemy mechs is a big boost to DPS and ammo efficiency. Next update I'll be toning down subsequent hit damage but giving penetrating projectiles the ability to punch through handheld shields.

Many have asked for improved kick mechanics in Granvir. Next update kicks will deal more damage, apply mutual pushback and can be used while sliding or grappling. Baseline leg kicks will be about as useful as a punch but the right build can make them shine.

Sliding has opened up a lot of opportunities beyond mecha drifting. I'll be adding a new grapple that pulls the enemy mechs to you soon.

Lower tier hover mobility options for your mech are coming in the next Granvir update. I think its a very polarizing mobility type with unique survival skills but enough players are enjoying them to keep expanding the selection.

I'm a long way from space and a few particle cannons short of a Zeong but I couldn't resist. Teach the enemy that legs are just for show in Granvir's next update.

Next update adds some fun little trackers to psychologically manipulate you into playing on a difficulty that's so high it isn't fun for you! Highest difficulty completed will be tracked per campaign and per pilot class.

I'm still getting used to the new hover mech movement but it seems to combo really well with grappling.

There are a lot of cool hover mechs out there but the Dom is one of my favorites. You can toggle between walking and hovering and even fire your weapon to accelerate. I'm looking for 3 pilots with a lot of enthusiasm for flying in a column.

Kind of a snoozer for Granvir this week since a big bug with firerate had to be fixed. Your favorite high firerate weapon should now meet its target DPS. The fastest firing weapons are up 30% DPS after the fix.

If you like throwing weapons, the short spears are a nice longer ranged option for your Granvir. You can combine them with a grapple for extra range and damage or to help pick them back up mid combat. Maybe the cave mechs were onto something...

Granvir update 2.30.0 is live with a new double wide beam rifle and triple length beam sword. If mounted cannons are more your style, the Galewind series finally has a T4 entry with a firerate you can boost at the cost of heat build up.

Just finished Double Zeta so I had to do a hyper beam saber and double beam rifle. I loved how the second half played on the first. I felt so bad for punished Mashymre too. Seeing the gang become so capable on their own was both cool and tragic. Foaming at the mouth for CCA.

Granvir is a roguelite mech builder with cockpit and overhead perspective all about giant lances. There are like 30 other weapon types but the dev is so egregiously biased you don't need them.

This indie dev is making a roguelite mech builder with cockpit view similar to Your Favorite Mech Franchise (TM) but different enough that you'll get annoyed if you play it on that recommendation alone.

Granvir Update 2.28.0 is live with the addition of wrist mounted laser blades. I've also rounded out the set with a pair of distance oriented boosting legs and a short range radar torso to keep track of the melee. There are some fixes too I promise.

With the new wrist blades I have combined the power of the moonlight greatsword and the moonlight laser blade. The power of the moon in the palm of my giant robot hand.

Haha laser blade go spinny. I may have watched a few too many AC6 zero damage runs. Unfortunately I learned nothing.

I've had a lot of fun with the laser blades playing the older Armored Cores especially in 4A so naturally I needed to have one for myself. I'm not really good enough to use them against enemy ACs but they really bailed out my early game economy.

Granvir Update 2.27.0 is live. Many have politely suggested I remove the fog of war and now you can do it yourself with custom difficulty. You can also take your loathsome creature of a mech for a spin in campaign 2's new urban special mission.

The Zeon mobile suits are some of my favorite and I've always been a fan of the lewis gun so now Granvir finally has its own LMG. You can't see anything over the enormous drum but I think its part of the charm.

Granvir update 2.26.0 is live with a batch of high capacity machine guns, a leg facing indicator to help out the first person pilots and a bunch more. If you're looking for a mech builder to play with friends, Granvir is 20% off all weekend.

If you want to play a melee build in Granvir but giant mecha greatswords aren't your style, knives are a solid core melee weapon. They don't cancel an empty hand's movement speed boost and do significantly more damage to a parried enemy. Just watch out for unblockable overheads!

If you are just starting out in Granvir, early melee mech builds can be tough. Not all weapons are made to be your bread and butter. Some are for cheaply finishing easy fights. A greatsword + grapple combo makes a solid core with gap close, a parry and tons of damage.

Here is what the first person aiming mode looks like when you use it for evil (melee). I've added some screen panel lines to help you keep track of the orientation of your mech.

Alternate universe where Granvir is a janky first person mech game instead of a janky third person mech game. Aim mode coming next update but you have to promise not to use it for evil.

The campaign 2 finale has always felt a little awkward delivering "The Package" to destroy some generic factories. Next update adds unique buildings to help the Millennium Company's base feel more worthy of a special delivery.

Come get your beam saber! Granvir 2.24.0 is live. Munitions vendor stock will now scale with player count in coop and you can swap the grip on weapons that can be held in 1 or 2 hands from the builder.

Many have asked for a regular one-handed beam sword. Next update you'll be able to make grandpa proud. I couldn't resist adding a special mechanic though. You can turn the blade on and off so you can run faster and cancel the cooling cost.

Granvir 2.23.0 is live! I was missing my AC3 build so I added enormous back mounted chain guns to take me back. Also, you can now lock your back weapons into a deployed position so they're less than a moment away!

Campaign 4 teaser #3 incoming: You won't have time to scour the map so you'll be claiming rewards after missions. Each completed wave gives you more picks and expands the pool. Picks and additions will vary between missions so choose wisely.

Campaign 4 teaser #2 incoming: This campaign focuses on a new wave defense mission type. Waves of enemies will advance on your position. You can make a break for it after the first wave or risk taking on up to 2 more for even greater rewards.

Campaign 4 is still a bit far out but I want to share 3 of its major new mechanics over the next few days. First up is deployable turrets! You can loot, craft and buy preset turrets for backup on your mission and even build custom turrets with your extra parts.

Granvir 2.22.0 is live with armature accuracy. Arms now have accuracy stats that make handheld weapons more and less accurate. 4 new arms have also been added to cover accuracy/damage/strength archetypes across the tiers. Show me your new favorite arm mechs!
