I know nothing about the Mill Lane engineering sculpture in Loughborough, but The Sock gets two pages in Public Sculptures of Leicestershire & Rutland, mostly concerning the controversy around the design and selection. To boost morale, my husband's workplace has booked an early finish next week to hold a BBQ with music on site for staff. DJ Fat Fingers will be entertaining them all. Husband booked the day off! It does not make up for not paying a bonus this year
