As a streamer, I do strongly feel that consistency is key. I’ve not suddenly blown up overnight; my path to Twitch Partner was slow & steady. It took nearly 5yrs of organic growth & community building. In 2025 I missed just one stream, due to illness. I’m pretty proud of my commitment. 😊

Devs - this is a great thread if you’re contacting streamers with a view to get your game featured during NextFest or similar. I get overwhelmed & the amount of emails I get asking me to stream a game really stresses me out. I would love to reply to everyone but I just can’t; I’m so sorry.

I get what Twitch intended with Watch Streaks but I'm so grateful to streamers who have disabled them. For me it adds a level of stress & urgency that isn't good for my mental health. I feel it takes advantage of those of us with slightly obsessive mindsets. I wish I could disable them as a viewer.😔
