The two bird carcasses are in the cauldron, along with another sack of vegetable scraps and white onion. I added a sifting of frozen herbs and minced garlic, plus some roasted onion bullion to give it a little extra nuance. This stuff is going to be edible gold ✨️

Fox is awake. The double bird roast went well, as did the mashed potato batch. Everything got sorted; meat in one bag, wings and legs in a second, main carcass in a third. The bone stock is going to be magnificent.

Fox ran about everywhere! Found a sweet buy 1 get 1 deal on whole chickens! (dance of happiness) I'm going to roast them both and turn one of them into chicken salad. The other might become an Indian dish, or is can freeze it for later. We'll see.

(All 4 paws in the air, small whine) Ffffuucckkk. My hair hurts. I'm cold/warm as balls in a sauna, and sleep is a Vegas installment plan. Still not as harsh as D's reaction, but it's good to see an immune response.

Got just about everything done. The vax is kicking in and I'm glad I already have a perfect nest to fall into. Fox will be sleeping a lot for the next day or so. All my other shots are up to date. Let's hope that we still have them next year.
