Over the past few weeks, crews have worked around the clock (through snow & shine), to make necessary reinforcement repairs to the Bearspaw Feeder Main. Calgarians stepped up by saving water - helping crews keep the work moving and getting us to the point where restrictions could be lifted today.

Update: March 30 – 4 p.m. We’re in the homestretch! Feeder main repairs are in the final stages. 📣Today, we are continuing sampling and testing to confirm the water meets or exceeds all regulatory standards.

We learned this morning that we have heard from 287 speakers at the Public Hearing for Repealing Rezoning. With over 250 new speakers registered we still have a ways to go. Thank you to everyone who has taken time out of their busy lives to speak to our City Council!

8 St SW construction is back this April as part of the Revitalize project. Work starts on the west side (3–5 Ave), moves south to Stampede, then shifts east through fall. Goal: a safer, more accessible, more pedestrian-friendly street. Timeline now extends to late 2027. #YYC #DowntownYYC
