We heard that there was a new Skywalker Ranch store open to the public and it surpassed my expectations. From Indiana Jones fedoras to Star Wars lightsabers. Tiki mugs to Mai Tai tumblers. RSVLT shirts to ROARK gear they had a lot of stuff.

Epic Universe is cool but have you played ouija plant, done a seance circle, and played duck-duck-goose with Frankenstein's monster and his bride? #UniversalStudiosHollywood

Chocolate cream pie for desert at the Calico Grill (also a Peanuts Festival specialty food item). Pretty good!

Got the Garlic Bread Hot Dog with cheeseburger sauce at Wilderness Broiler, one of the specialty food items for the Peanuts Festival. I really liked it! Honestly, the sauce didn’t do much for me one way or another, but a garlic bread bun is a great idea!

Heading to Knott’s, we saw three cats lounging together as we passed by the picnic area! 🐱🐱🐱

Sweeney Todd at the La Mirada Theater, directed by Jason Alexander (yes, Seinfeld!). One of my favorite musicals of all time, and it was an excellent production!

The one thing we were super curious about, but sold out too quickly for us to get to experience, was the “Pressure Test: Bound Below” experience. It was VIP only. Did anyone get to experience it? We did enjoy ourselves, though we feel it needs maybe one more activity (and a bit more decor)

We also enjoyed that to get between all these different activities, you had to walk through a fairly significant portion of the Infirmary maze. While there were no scareactors, the props were still up, so it sort of felt like a behind the scenes tour you could take at your own pace. A nice bonus!

A lot of guests did get super dressed up for Dark Masquerade. While there was a DJ and dance floor inside, we appreciated the live jazz music outside There was also food and drinks, but we didn’t partake too much there

Gale’s Requiem was the most visual by far. Head downstairs to a “secret” bar into the enormous empty area of the ship, which is anchored by an elegant performance and video screens all around. While it doesn’t sound like much, it was fairly impressive to see!

The longest line of the night was Sweetheart’s Slaughterhouse. Going through most of the Feast maze, it was full of actors, but instead of scares, you experienced the story of a missing chef who was probably using human flesh as the main ingredient…

While Dark Masquerade didn’t blow our minds, we did enjoy ourselves! Operations were smooth, and with one exception, all lines for activities were very short! Our favorite was the mini maze The Search for Mary, where you were given a glowstick, and there were some very dark sections!

One of the most fun and entertaining theme park shows around

Tried the crispy corn cheese bites, available at Strictly on a stick. Not bad, though the cheese drizzled on top was more of a nacho cheese (I was expecting cheddar). Texture and taste of the corn fritters was great. Cheese was good, didn’t wow me. Also didn’t care for the cheese on the fries

Current Peanuts merch. There are new shoulder sits of both Snoopy and Belle!

Really enjoyed the kite flying and kite eating tree exhibit at Knott’s Berry Farm

A new gravestone in Boot Hill.. and it seems he still likes to play music from beyond the grave 👻🎼 (Sound on)

Ghost Town Grill (the table service restaurant in Knott’s) has a special add on Peanuts menu. Tried the fondue. It was good, but definitely more a shareable item. Bread was good but very buttery.

Just noticed this dedication plaque at the new store by the park exit

Parked in the back for Knott’s Berry Farm, but it does allow for nice views of the Church of Reflection Also, a new informational sign near the pedestrian underpass, but it’s hard to see in the sun glare
