Please I’m begging be careful what you repost. Some good tips here. Assume anything online could be AI at this point. (Especially if it’s meant to evoke a strong emotion or reaction. yes this includes cute animal photos/videos).

The Post analyzed TikTok watch histories provided to it by 1,100 users. The data illustrates "the platform’s power to show you what you might want, and also reveals vast oceans of content you may never see —and perhaps don’t know exist." One finding: gender plays a big role in what videos are shown.

This is an underacknowledged phenomenon, IMO: Real events, even those with actual proof and documentation, being falsely depicted in the form of AI outputs. When fake content is based on real info, the everyday social media user is left with no choice but to call every image into question
