Trying to find an affordable place to live sucks, and websites are full of bait-and-switch wording. "$300!" "Per person if there's 4 of you, lol" "$281!" "That's actually per week, lol" "$600!" "It's not a studio, it's a single room in our home, lol" Not to mention all the fake ones.

A little more context because this abruptness makes it sound like we got into a fight or something, which we didn't. I knew he was looking for a new job and he talked about maybe getting one and wasn't sure, but he just hit me with the announcement out of the blue.

One nice thing about not having a lot of stuff is it only took a couple hours to get packed. Just kick me in the nuts already.

And of course he asks ME to get his stuff ready! What the f*** is my life.

Just got hit with a brick. Roommate found a better job in another state and is moving out, giving me around 3 weeks to figure out what I'm going to do. Shoulda known things were going too well...
