There are more people in this world than there are minutes in a lifetime, so why would I spend one talking to someone who disrespects me?

This is why I don't talk about things I enjoy with people around me. A few coworkers and I were talking about stuff and we got on the topic of names. I mentioned that I'm going to change mine. "To what?" I told them and they proceeded to mock the name. So back behind my wall I go.

Got moved and mostly settled in. Going from a near village of around 7k people to a city twenty times that is quite an incongruous juxtaposition. Also going from double digit temps to negative ones is a bit of a shock, but a pleasant one if I'm being honest.
