Pelicans lose 122-88 to Nuggets and COMPLETELY dropped the ball out of halftime in third-quarter massacre. This after losing 122-90 to Celtics just 48 hours ago. Their 2025-26 regular season began LAST WEDNESDAY. Unacceptable for a team wanting to be competitive, to show last season was a fluke.

Pelicans' first steal of tonight's game is a big one, as Celtics have largely dominated the first quarter. Trey Murphy picks up Jose Alvarado's strip and injects some life into the Smoothie King Center, cutting New Orleans' deficit to 24-17 with 3:15 left in the frame.

Have to LOVE that Zion Williamson had the confidence to shoot the pull-up middle right there. He hadn't done so all game and there was a less than a minute left in a tie game. Pelicans lead Spurs 106-104 with 31.5 seconds remaining.
