Walked along the creek in my neighbourhood & spotted the ducks near the bridge. Often by Feb some of the duck families in the park have lost a few of their young (born in spring), but not in this area. They dodge some of the predators, including 🐍🦊

The brightness of these marigolds amongst the harshness of city buildings, cement & asphalt makes the cityscape brighter too. 🌼👋🏽😀

I worked in the city today & walked through Anzac Square this morning & this afternoon. I also sat for a while and admired the trees. I reflected on how much they’ve grown over the decades & how I’ve walked in, through, around, and over the Square for decades too.
