Kudos to everyone protesting 🧊 in MN (and other places), especially today with negative temps and -25 windchill here. I'm impressed! 🙌🏻 (I was there in spirit. It's just too cold for me. Also, I don't like being in huge crowds, but someday I'll get over that and join one of these).

Videos of I*E slipping on ice are pretty funny in an ironic way. 🤭 (But, I don't want either type on the streets here).

Trying to find the balance between staying updated on news, and not doomscrolling so much my anxiety gets worse.

40th birthday was pretty good. Had a good meal and got nice gifts. And, I think I have stuff to look forward to this next year. I don't feel older yet, and don't quite feel like I'm ready for my 40s, but I am excited to see what this new decade brings. :)

I wish we could make our posts friends-only. Or, I should just not care about the unlikely chance someone I know offline will find this and figure out it's me. haha

What do you mean it's December 1st already? Each year seems to go by faster. I should get my holiday stuff out soon so I can at least feel festive for a little bit. It'll make the dark and cold easier to deal with. ❄️🎄

My 39th year isn't starting out that exciting- normal work day, and my dinner plans got cancelled by weather (I have plans with family Saturday though). I've decided I need to go somewhere fun for my next birthday; and hopefully by then, I'll actually feel ready to be that age.

I'm thinking I should follow some news accounts, yet I kinda like not having that on my feed...

Next year I need to actually use my Spotify subscription enough to get a Wrapped.

December 1st. It's too cold outside and I haven't done much this weekend. But, I did take my box of holiday stuff out, and set up my pre-lit tree (not decorated yet). And I got some shopping done online. Also, had a few days worth of Thanksgiving leftovers, so that was good.
