I guess my hot take would be that I really like Xtreame X Men. Sure it has some problems like having a storyline sequel to God Loves, Man Kills which it’s the worst story in the book and does have Claremont’s wording dialogue but I think it’s good balance X-men action and soap opera.

It's the birthday of one of the all-time great comic book artists, Gene Colan. From Howard the Duck to Dr. Strange, Tomb of Dracula to Daredevil (and so many more), his art was moody and cinematic and his characters were always expressive and deeply human. A master.
