For the record, I’m still working on Nugget’s Blast Away! Some low-level changes mean it’ll take longer to develop. Big projects can cause dev fatigue, so I’m want to try making smaller games on the side. Keeps my mind fresh and helps me return to Blast Away with new energy.

I love free roam in #MarioKartWorld! It‘s so fun together with friends and taking pictures together. The P Switch missions are genuinely nicely designed challenges and not just bloat. They often surprise me with sudden new structures or with unexpected obstacles or characters appearing.

On International Woman's Day, I want to highlight Aya Kyogoku. One of the most influential figures at Nintendo. She previously directed Animal Crossing: New Leaf and New Horizons. She is now the Group Manager of Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 5 overseeing Animal Crossing and Splatoon.

I've been working on my first indie game, Nugget's Blast Away, since last June. It’s a reaction-based vertical platformer for iOS. You blast from cannon to cannon, avoiding obstacles, landing on platforms, and dodging enemies. It’s still early in development but would love to hear any feedback.

Pokemon Champions was announced for Switch/Mobile. It's being developed by Pokémon Works. It will focus on traditional Pokémon battles.

I think Nintendo Switch Online’s retro games are worth it - being able to play with friends, even in single-player games, is awesome! But I think having an option to buy the games and have them **tied to your account** so you can download them on all future Nintendo devices would be neat.
