My sister in law is taking her oath to be an American citizen. They had postponed it and she’s been sincerely scared of being deported. Given the state of everything it feels bittersweet but we are going to celebrate tonight anyway.

Embracing my anger was the best thing I’ve done to heal myself. Well meaning friends told me to be positive and not sit in the anger. I persisted because my anger had ALWAYS been invalidated. I moved through my rage with intention. I am more balanced and can live in harmony with anger now. ❤️

Can we normalize just walking away and being done with conversations we’re done with? People will “politely” sit there when they don’t want to and also “politely” talk shit behind a persons back for talking too much when they could have just walked away. That makes no sense to me.
