I played in two different places on Friday and Saturday in North Carolina. There were some people at both places who obviously had been previously acquainted with at least some of my music. I had the same song requested for “do one more” at the end of both sets. Wasn’t expecting that.

Last night was my first time playing at the new location of the #BerkeleyCafe in #RaleighNC, and the crowd did not disappoint. Lotsa friendly faces. Some I knew, and some I didn’t. Made me feel good! Many thanks to Alex Little for squeezing me onto the schedule with not a lot of notice.

I live in middle Tennessee. I’m tracking a package. It started in Sparks, Nevada on Wednesday. Went to Reno. Then Sacramento. From there to Gastonia, North Carolina. Then Charlotte, North Carolina. Then Gastonia (again). As of 3:04am today, it is “In Transit To Next Facility”. Ain’t the #USPS grand?

No big surprises in this game. The Titans are losing, and their only points have come through field goals. Playing for another #1 pick.

I’m beginning to think that maybe the president doesn’t have the best interests of the people in mind.

Bobby’s Idle Hour Tavern is where it’s happening today. Live music and festivities from noon until 5pm, celebrating the bartender’s birthday. Hear some of the best #songwriters in town…and me! Forget about south Broadway “that honkytonk Disneyland mecca of kitsch”. This is the real #Nashville.
