🧪 The activity is now part of GSO’s Biological Oceanography Lab course (OCG561), helping train future researchers in "open, transparent, accessible, inclusive, and reproducible science."

Based on Amanda Herbst’s 2021 #SURFO project, the activity helps students become acquainted with key procedures in oceanographic data acquisition, processing, validation, and management using real NES-LTER data from six #RVEndeavor cruises. 🔗 Read the paper: buff.ly/tp4WLSj

🌊 Recently published in Oceanography's Ocean Education section, this new hands-on activity co-authored by #URIGSO's Pierre Marrec and Susanne Menden-Deuer guides students through the process of turning raw fluorescence into reliable, post-calibrated chlorophyll a data using open-access resources. 🧪
