The “New Bach Edition” 117 music volumes and 101 Critical Reports have been published as part of the monumental “New Bach Edition”. Thousands of hours of musicological work went into this project, a “towering” achievement.

Remembering Bernard Haitink who would have been 96 today. One of the great conductors of our generation and an extremely very modest man. We saw him in the audience at Garsington Opera - my wife requested his autograph. 'Why me' he said 'I have done nothing - I'm just sitting here watching!'
