Playing this before FFT remastered comes out in like... a few weeks is kind of insane. This isn't a bad game by any means, but it really does just come off as poor FFT. It's on sale, so give it a shot, and the core 4 characters are interesting enough
the game's conceit, like Octopath fails it tho
add a skeleton here at some point
