After an unprecedented pause of three weeks, the CDC has resumed publishing its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR). However, three studies about bird flu that were supposed to appear in this edition, remain on hold even as the outbreak spreads.

I’m glad to see publication of the MMWR resume, but I am disappointed that the H5N1 reports that have been anticipated were not included.
