On Saturdays in 8th grade I'd hang at the drug store, drink cherry cokes. Wait for the the paperback man to refill the book spindles. On a perfect day he added a new John D. McDonald or Ian Fleming. Maybe a Mickey Mantle or John Dillinger biography.
