To add a little context from that conversation, total TTRPG campaigns are probably down a fair bit year over year, depending on how you count it. Counting by Backers, the number that reached 1,000 backers declined from 194 in 2023 to 148 to 2024. Still, 5e's decline was sharper than the market's.
