House cleaning soundtrack Saturday brought to me by The Pirate Movie and Once Upon Hollywood vinyl. Working hard and grooving!

It is easily one of the best films I saw last year. Tapped into my greatest fear.

New Blueray - The Sugarland Express!!! Love this movie. Any fans out there?

I bought both 45’s (records kids) around the same time. First full tape is either Culture Club or Elton John.

Nice to see Rohan Campbell lookin all Joey Ramone in the The Monkey. The first Perkins film that connected with me. The 1st act narration has a real King feel before the film descends into wacky horror. I love seeing weird shit on the big screen. I suspect average viewers just want to be scared.

I’m picking The Pirate Movie for all 4 slots. I love it and I’m so blind I don’t think it’s bad.

It easily made my top 10 when I saw it in Telluride.

Watched the Sundance film Brides online last night. Leaves you wondering if the movie needed more or less, a debate shared by many on letterboxed. Ultimately, I think it played it just right. I’m always intrigued by films that explore the fragility of adolescent naïveté , anger, and hope.

Rewatched A.I last night. A movie that haunts me. It lives in the back of my brain, always. The creators have stopped asking why in 2025. A.I shows the chilling results. Can programmed love transcend the program? All we know if that even the most advanced Mechas wonder if love is the answer.

This is the personal and the logical answer.

This event is tomorrow. $5 for the virtual event or $38 for that and a signed book. I saw Grady’s - Final Girls Support Group performance at the Telluride Horror Show and it was amazing. Tears of joy at how good it was. This sounds totally worth it!

Can’t wait for the John Williams score to kick in during the climax of James Gunn’s Superman. This looks like the Superman we need. Kids leaving the theater with hope, ready to do good. I believe movies can influence an entire nations psyche. Perhaps I’m naive…a bit like Superman.

Funny, surreal, and heartbreaking. A movie passed on to me by my father. Little Big Man is a gem.

This would be a great time. We still have a Drive-In in our town and I could introduce them to Tacos and Beer - our best restaurant 😂
