I had a wonderful time at Offkai, it really reminded me of a few conventions I used to love before they got way too big. It was lovely meeting so many awesome people and just generally having a very chill weekend.

Anyone ever have a dream about finding something cool, and decide to act on it? That happened to me today, so for fun I went out to see if I could find anything. I'm glad I did, because I got these for a steal. (The Mother vocal album is one of my favorites of all time)

It's gonna take a bit of effort to get it working again, but I have an Odyssey 2 to play around with now!

Today I opened up my ColecoVision, looks like the issue from last night's stream was that the power switch box was pretty dirty inside. I cleaned that up, tweaked a few other things, and it's working much better now!

Today's haul was an interesting one... due to character limit I'll make the rundown brief. Intellivision (complete), Intellivision II (missing cables), 2 Atari 5200 controllers and power supply, Atari 7800 controller, 2600 paddle controller, and two carts. For less than what the controllers go for.

I found this gurploid (clearly a fan of @crua-flau.bsky.social) in the forest, foraging for berries.

Today I walked into the back room where I got my ColecoVision and pulled out some Atari joysticks. I asked the owner how much for the controllers and I walked out with what was essentially a free console...

This Saturday around 9-10pm est I'll be streaming (twitch.tv/cruaflau) a brief Atari 2600 showcase using my ColecoVision expansion module. We can consider it a celebration for hitting 100 followers on Twitch! (Expect to see the games pictured because they're the only ones I have right now.)

The ColecoVision runs just fine, but but I have a few more things I need to do before I stream it. Definitely going to need a new RCA cable, and the controllers need to be broken down and deep cleaned before they work properly.

Picked up this Sharp VC-7855U at a local thrift store, and it works great. One step closer to streaming the ColecoVision!

Picked this ColecoVision up for dirt cheap, it was absolutely disgusting and haphazardly tossed into the back room of a secondhand shop. I think it cleaned up quite nicely, but it's definitely going to need a second go.

People keep telling me to post that my birthday is coming up. So hello, I guess my birthday is this saturday. I'll be streaming games or something and talking about a cursed video game themed birthday I had when I was younger. 9pm EDT probably.
