Picked up GBVSR on sale today, and it seems like a lot of fun so far! Happy that one of my first choices of a character to try, turned out to be one that I think I'm clicking with!

After seeing the price tag of Metaphor: ReFantazio I was very put off ($CAD gaming yayyy). But the demo is really good so far... And also I have to respect that it has a demo of the actual early game, that can be carried over. That should really be the standard for these big, pricey games!

I was actually able to manage more than 2 matches of Guilty Gear Strive in a row today. Sure, some of that might have been some stubborn "I'm not stopping until I win" attitude, but it's nice to see the anxiety of online pvp is fading a bit.

Only had a bit of time but 3-0'd my first games on the fighting stick. Not that I'm playing at high ranks or anything. But the actual feel of the stick itself was very nice. A lot more natural and comfortable than anything else I've tried. Just need to get used to the input timings all over again 😅

Ended up caving and ordering a fighting stick today. It's something I had forgotten about, but I have some kind of issue with the 2nd-4th fingers' knuckles on my left hand that, when they are bad, make it almost impossible to consistently do any sort of 214 inputs on keyboard or leverless

My love of Jack-O' is back! Playing some other characters (ABA, Testament) really translated over to learning Jack-O' and I even took rounds on my friends who I couldn't win against at all yesterday. Feels good, since Jack-O' was the first character I was interested in but just couldn't figure out!

Played a good few hours of GGST with some friends, got my ass handed to me but I can happily say 1) it was still lots of fun and I didn't tilt, and 2) I found a few other characters that I'm enjoying!

Won half of my very first online rematches in GGST today, and with how much my hands are shaking... I think that's good enough for day 1 🤣

With the Guilty Gear sale I also picked up the Strive season 3 characters, the last set I didn't have. ABA seems so fun, I can't believe I almost skipped over her! I'll definitely have to play around with her some more. Dizzy Waiting Room cured with a literal jingling key 😂

Playing around in some fighting games this last week has me building hype for Dizzy's GGST release. I have no prior connection to her from other games or anything. It just feels like some kind of spiritual calling 😂

Having a lot of fun with Tekken 8 so far, even if I've only had the time and energy to play around with a few characters in the practice tool. It may actually be the thing to cure me of my button mashing habits 😅

Neither Soul Calibur 6, nor Samurai Shodown were doing it for me unfortunately. Apparently Tekken 8 is a bit easier to jump into. Had about 30min for the demo, though, so I'll have to play some later. Hopefully it'll serve as a good onboarding point and I can go back to the others later!

Huge Steam sale for Soul Calibur VI, so figured I'd pick it up. Guess we'll see if I remember a single thing about fighting games 😅

Spent all day getting these gearsets done, now that I have access to Raging Brachy gear (and a bit of fashion game, of course). All set to continue advancing towards the ultimate end goal of Fatalis. But for now, well earned rest #monsterhunter

I think since my return to MH, #monsterhunterworld 's Raging Brachydios might be the first one to truly stump me for a few attempts. Regular Brachy is probably my least favourite monster, so this variant was just infuriating. A humbling reminder, sometimes you have to try again. Glad to see it done!

I've decided that I want to at least give World's Fatalis a try before Wilds, but for that I've still got a fair amount of endgame to grind through. I should also probably pick and lock in on just one or two weapons... 😅 #MonsterHunterWorld

Got confirmation that my group's Pathfinder 2e "Pathfinder Society year 3" game is continuing very soon, after a break for the summer and the Remaster release. Can't wait to get back at it with my remastered Champion! The new features all look so fun, I've been drooling over Shields of the Spirit

It might be too early to say, but something I'm greatly enjoying about MHGU is that every weapon has something going for it for me. I found 4U I only enjoyed a few of the weapons, but the addition of Hunter Styles has kept everything so fresh and fun.

Ugh, I can't get over how CUTE the MHGU starting gear, the Bherna set, is. Criminal that it hasn't returned. And I'm staring at at the absolute mountain I still have to conquer before I can get Layered Armor (transmog in this game?), but it might just be worth the climb
